What is the difference Jujitsu and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?
Both Jujitsu and Jiu Jitsu can simply be defined as grappling arts. Jujitsu is originally a Japanese terminology. It includes many locks and throws from standing or ground positions more so commonly used for self-defense and combative purposes. Jiu Jitsu is commonly the spelling for the Brazilian version of the Japanese Jujitsu. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the sport based system that deals mainly with ground and tournament fighting.
