What is the difference when calibrating my ReliOn Ultima meter with ReliOn Ultima Test Strips that includes the Lot 00000 calibrator bar?

Calibration is performed in the usual way with previous LOT numbers of ReliOn Ultima Blood Glucose Test Strips. The calibration code on the calibrator and the meter is now “LOT 00000” whereas the lot number on the test strip foil wrapper, carton and Instructions for Use is different. It is no longer required for you to check that the lot number “00000” on the meter display window and calibrator matches the lot number of the Instructions for Use and the foil packet. You’ll need to check that the lot number on the test strip Instructions for Use matches the test strip foil packet, and that the meter display and test strip calibrator matches LOT 00000.
