What is the Disney Learning Partnership?
The Disney Learning Partnership is a philanthropic initiative of The Walt Disney Company supporting innovative and engaging approaches to learning that promote student success. Founded as an outgrowth of Disney’s American Teacher Awards, Disney Learning Partnership works in three areas: to provide increased support to teachers through recognition and professional development programs, to foster collaborative school-wide learning initiatives through grants and our Disney Learning Partnership Spotlight School program, and to strengthen parent-teacher connections by improving school-family partnerships. Assisting us in this effort are the members of the Disney Learning Partnership Advisory Council, a group of leading education experts who lend their insights, advice, and vision to help us ensure that our efforts meet the highest standards and are in line with the latest academic and research findings.
