What is the ELT Network and how is it different from teacher training courses at the British Council?

The ELT Network is a project (not a teaching centre course) designed to facilitate networking amongst Hong Kong teachers working in primary and secondary schools for whom English is an additional language. We provide six workshops a year on innovative teaching methodology. After each workshop, you receive a certificate of attendance that you can add to your continuing professional development portfolio. As well as this, we have a modest webpage that provides information on ideas about teaching and learning, lesson plans, interviews and a workshop sign-up facility.
