What is the Equal Justice Coalition? How is it related to the Alliance?
The Equal Justice Coalition is a non-partisan, broad-based, statewide organization dedicated to equal justice for all. Since 1995, the Equal Justice Coalition has been a standing committee of the Washington State Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Board. The Equal Justice Coalition supports the Alliance by educating others about the importance of civil legal aid in our communities and, specifically, by advocating for sufficient public funding for civil legal aid for low-income people living in Washington state.
