What is the EURO currency and how do I use it?
The Euro is the unified currency used in countries belonging to the European Monetary Union. There are 12 countries that offer the single currency as of January 1, 2002. The Euro symbol is: €. The 12 participating countries are: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain. The following four countries will not be participating in the unified currency: Denmark, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
