ArcView 3.0 has been redesigned to allow extensions to be added like “plug-in” modules. Two modules are currently available and are called the Spatial Analyst and the Network Analyst. The ArcView GIS Professional Edition includes the ArcView Standard Edition plus the Network Analyst and the Spatial Analyst.
