It divides your household into 9 sections, referred to in feng shui as ‘guas.’ These guas represent the 9 main areas of your life: Health, Career / Life Path, Helpful People / Travel, Creativity / Children, Relationships / Love Marriage, Fame / Reputation, Prosperity / Wealth, Family / Foundation, and your Skills / Wisdom / Knowledge. Using the ba gua, you can determine which parts of your house correspond to each of the 9 areas of your life. The ba gua is also color coordinated with different colors corresponding to each section. The colors in the ba gua are black, silver, white, pink, red, purple, green and blue.
