What is the function of the Konsortium client advisors and farmer mentors?
Their main function is to manage the Konsortium-Merino brand. They will establish and maintain the Konsortium type on your farm for the benefit of the whole Konsortium family. With the use of special ear tags, they will duly identify brand ewes, approved ewes and Konsortium slaughter stock and will then market them as such. Amongst other things, the advisor/mentor will also help you with your ewe selection, your choice of rams and advice about flock management. With the aid of a simple computer programme, designed to measure the performance of your Merino flock, he will assist you to keep track of your production and progress.
