Beginning in January 2009, the Government will expand access for PSA testing to include community laboratories which will be covered under Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).Currently men meeting the clinical guidelines for PSA testing have the test covered through a hospitals global budget when it is done in a hospital laboratory only.
