The cornerstone was laid in 1911. On July 4, 1913 it was dedicated as Tuckahoe Village Hall. Over the years it was a bank, police station, jail, library, and post office. In 2002, it became the home of the Generoso Pope Foundation. In 2006, the Westchester Italian Cultural Center opened.
