What is the hotel cancellation policy?
You can cancel without penalty up to 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If you cancel less than 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date or fail to check in on the scheduled arrival date, your credit card will be charged a penalty equal to one night’s room and tax. Some designated hotels charge the first night’s room & tax prior to arrival; if you cancel 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date your credit card will be refunded. Note: If you need to reserve a room for dates in addition to the VMworld Europe 2008 conference dates, you can still submit your reservation online, and then contact the registration team to update your reservation, and we will accommodate you based on availability. After August 19th, 2008 all cancellations must be made by contacting the hotel directly no later than 3pm, 3 days prior to arrival. Your deposit will not be refunded if you cancel less then 3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. To cancel your hotel, you must notify the VMworld 2009 Registration Team no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Cancellation within 72 hours prior to arrival will result in a charge of one night’s accommodations plus tax to your credit card.
