A paper template with the exact hole-pattern of the Transom Mounting Plate is in the box with the Troll Daddy. This template is provided for the exact placement of the Troll Daddy. The actual size of the Transom Plate is 13 inches square. The Transom Plate is larger than the template but the hole-pattern is exactly the same. One end of the template is marked top .This indicates the top of the Transom Plate. Place the template on the boat transom where the Troll Daddy is to be mounted, marking the location of the holes. Secure the Transom Plate tightly. Mount the TROLL DADDY with the half-inch Nylock nuts from the 9″ x 1/2″ bolts to the Transom Plate. *For electronics instruction, see “Easy Install Electronics”.
