For more than ten years, it has brought together leaders of the letter of credit community from the fields of banking, law, business, regulation, and academia in forums and educational events to foster and promote the exchange of ideas. It has been active in the development of rules and regulations governing letters of credit and guarantees, working with UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law), the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), and at national levels.
