What is the largest Cottonmouth killed in GA?
I dont know about killing, but I caught one about the size of my calf in the midsection, approx. 5ft in southern GA. It was impressive to say the least, she was crossing the road at night. Stopped and moved her on across. She was very placid the whole time. In the same area a few years later my wife spotted a 4ft one in a ditch along the sand road we were cruising. Typically they average 2-3 ft of the ones seen over the years of visiting the southeastern US.
