The use, by persons without authority, of mobile infrared transmitters (MIRT) devices, or any type of device that attempts to direct the movement of traffic by changing traffic signal lights, is prohibited by law pursuant to Section 257.615, 257.616 and 257.676b of the Michigan Vehicle Code, as amended.
