Cheap and nutritious does not exist in the dog food world. Actually, buying a better dog food is cheaper, as there are no fillers (corn, wheat, stuff like that) so you don’t feed the dog as much. I don’t know where you live, but you need to find a good pet food store (not the grocery store) and ask the people that work there. I feed my dogs Natural Balance LTD (Limited Ingredient) Bison and Sweet Potato or Chicken and Sweet Potato food. They are both very healthy, have good teeth, strong bones and energy to burn. My one dog weighs 55 pounds and my smaller dog weighs 24 pounds….they both eat the same food. I have heard some people say you need to feed different breeds different food, but I don’t agree with that…..but that’s me. If you can find Natural Balance, Blue Buffalo, Canidae, Wellness one of those brands in your area, that would be the best for your dogs. Buying the dog “people” food is okay, but dogs need certain nutrients (vitamins) that may not be in the meat you are feedi
