What is the main objective of the Civil & Environmental Engineering Course (CEE) course?
The Diploma in Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) course is a multi-disciplinary programme producing dynamic graduates and technopreneurs for the construction and fast emerging environmental protection industry. The course provides comprehensive training in two areas – Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering. The civil engineering component covers the analysis and design of buildings and infrastructures. The environmental engineering component provides comprehensive training in four key areas namely, water & wastewater treatment, pollution control, waste management & recycling, and environmental health management. The overall aim of this course is to provide broad-based and practice-oriented training for our students in the civil engineering and environmental sectors. Upon graduation, they can apply their knowledge and skills to build infrastructure, protect the environment and help in resource conservation.
