What is the maximum weight capacity of the Schwinn meridian?”
Generally speaking bikes are very strong and sturdy designs, the exceptions being ridiculusly cheap outlet bikes and amazingly lightweight road bikes. The point where a normal bike wheel will collapse while stationary I’ve seen listed as somewhere around 600 pounds. (on one wheel that is) Trouble is, when you start riding you also begin to add a lot of tricky dynamics into the situation. Jump a curb and miss the landing, hit a pot hole, jam the wheel in a grate or something and even the most well built wheel can collapse in an instant. An added difficulty for a trike is that bike wheels do great for a vertical load, but the narrow hubs and long spokes make them really sucky when dealing with lateral(sideways) loads. A 2-wheeled bike doesn’t really see any lateral loads the way they are ridden and balanced, but a trike during cornering could potentially pile it on quite a bit. Assuming that you aren’t cornering at speed or hitting any potholes/curbs I think the wheels on the Schwinn Mer
