What is the most suitable nitro rc car for an 11 yr. old.?
Whether it is suitable or not depends on how mature you are. Nitro cars can be dangerous if everything is NOT done correctly. My experience with most of the “modern” generation of youngsters is that at 11, if there is NOT adult supervision, NO nitro car would be safe. As to the type of car, since I fly planes, I can’t help there.
Really, it all depends on how mature you are. Nitro cars can be extremely dangerous if you don’t care and operate them properly. The nitroglycerin can explode (ask me how I know). They are very fun and Firestorm is a great starter, but if you are not up to the dangers, care, and expenses of them then you should a get an electric. Nitros may be faster and cooler, but you should be aware. Now that I can stop being an adult. The Firestorm is great. I don’t believe any car is too fast for anyone above ten as long as you have a large enough field. I’d recommend driving in a field at least the size of half a football field.They are fast, but remember to stay within 1000 feet because the average radio has that range. They are also very loud and you should tell everyone around you that you will be using a nitro car and if they do not want any noise, then you should move. If everyone is okay with it and your field is large enough, then you’re ready to go.
