What is the Nursing Workforce Diversity Program (NWD)?

0

D’Youville College was awarded a NWD grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services to prepare minority high school students (pre-entry) for post-secondary nursing education and establish a retention and scholarship program for current and eligible minority nursing students. NWD is designed to develop the skills and provide support necessary to help you be successful in college, graduate and work in the field of nursing. NWD and D’Youville College are dedicated to recruiting more nursing students from underrepresented groups, including African-American, Hispanics, Asians and Native Americans.
