What is the percentage of each religion in Japan?

0

Well, I can’t find/don’t know where to find any official information, though there was a survey in Japan where they found that 36% of the takers were agnostic/atheist, 26% were Buddhists, 2% Shintoists and another 1% were Christians The official numbers published by the Agency of Cultural Affairs in 1997 said that there was 49% Shintoists, 44% Buddhists and 2% Christians (though this consists only of believers. Results of agnostics were not recorded) Official, up-to-date religious data doesn’t seem to be recorded on the internet (which is really REALLY strange) Although this could be because it’s written in Japanese.
