The OracleAS Portal Developer Kit (PDK) is the highly-productive framework for extending and integrating into OracleAS Portal. The PDK has the software, articles, and samples developers need to build portlets. You can use any programming language to build portlets and we provide pre-built services for Java (100% J2EE-compliant) and PL/SQL. More importantly, you can actually create portlets from existing Java components and web applications using the PDK without writing additional code. Tight integration with Oracle JDeveloper helps developers to build Java portlets based on Oracle Java PDK APIs or Portal Standard APIs (JSR-168). The PDK is available for online viewing and download from the Portal Studio.
