What is the procedure for opening an account with JN?
LOCAL If you wish to open an account with us, you may visit any of our 29 locations island-wide to collect and complete a Customer Information Form (CIF) and signature card. You will need to take along with you the following documents: • Passport, Driver’s Licence or Voter’s ID • TRN • Proof of your address – utility bill, bank statement, furniture bill etc. You may view online the range of accounts we offer. If you need assistance in choosing the option most suitable for you, you may visit our branch and a Customer Service Representative will assist you. A passbook or Certificate of Deposit (CD) will be issued depending on the type of account you choose. You may apply for an ATM card which can be used at any of our ATM machines or any MultiLink machines in Jamaica. You can make enquiries; do withdrawals and lodgements at any JN machine or Multilink machine without incurring a cost. Lodgements cannot be made through the MultiLink.
