What is the procedure for requesting technical support?
Technical support is a term often used to define anything from the repair of a non-operational computer or printer to help learning a function of a software application. In general, we request that you use the online work order system to request technical support, which is accessible from each building’s home page. The work order system is the most efficient way to request assistance since the requests reach the technicians immediately. In addition, the online form time stamps your request and issues a ticket number for status and accountability checking. If you need assistance submitting a work order or need to escalate a problem, contact the Lab Assistant in your building as they have priority access to the technicians.
