What is the procedure to get a baby baptized?
First, you must be a Leesburg resident, and a registered member of St John’s (forms are available at the parish office). You must register for the Baptism Preparation class, which is normally held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Center. Call the office and fill out (verbally) the registration form for Baptism, and have the godparents provide a sponsorship certificate from their parish. Baptisms are held on Sundays at 4:00 p.m.
