What is the procedure to get an export business started in Thailand?
1. If you are interested in export from Thailand you need to first of all obtain a smart card from the Customs department. These cards are based on the following categories: • Gold card for importers and exporters • Silver card for licensed customs broker • Yellow card for an owner or a manager • Green card for an attorney • Pink card for customs clearance2. After getting an appropriate smart card you need to give and identification proof for the clearance process, usually for foreigners this would be their passport. 3. After getting the card and giving a proof of your identity you need to file an Exports declaration form (Customs Form No. 101 or 101 / 01) manually or electronically4.
