What is the procedure to have software or hardware installed in a lab?
Generally, software requests are required to be submitted one quarter in advance. This allows time for testing for compatibility and keeps the lab image uncompromised during the quarter while class is in session. Re-imaging only happens during major breaks such as Christmas or the last two weeks of summer. Temporary or special preview requests for Software or special hardware installation follow separate procedure.
