What is the proper amount to tip the guide or guides?
Giving a tip or gratuity to your guide is completely at your discretion. If the guide/guides did a good job for you and you had a good time, it is the norm in the industry to give them a tip. How much is up to you. A good starting point would be to give your guide/guides somewhere between 15% and 25% of the cost of your trip. If you had phenomenal time, consider giving them more. If you were not satisfied with the service you received from your guide/guides, don’t tip them and please let us know what the problem was so we can make it right with you.
