What is the proper method of calculating contingency fees?

0

On contingency fee agreements, refer to Rule 616(2)(e) of the Rules of Court which states that contingency fee agreements must specify a maximum rate payable to the law firm after deducting disbursements. This clause applied to both the pre- and post- May 1, 2000 Rules of Court. Please contact the Practice Advisors if you have any questions with regard to contingency fee agreements.
