What is the Radio Reading Service?

0

The Radio Reading Service helps print-impaired individuals access printed information through radio. A public service of WVTF and the Virginia Tech Foundation, the service broadcasts continuous readings from current newspapers and magazines on WVTF’s FM-SCA (subcarrier) channel. Recipients of the service have a pre-tuned SCA receiver that picks up the closed-circuit broadcast, which is provided free of charge by WVTF.
