Just do it! I know this is the Nike slogan, but I use it a lot. No excuses – go out for that walk, push the baby in the jogging stroller around the neighborhood, or get on your treadmill while your baby is sleeping. If you have a friend who is in the same boat, get on a similar schedule and just do it together. I always feel better after I exercise, even if I only have time for a quick 20 minute jog. If something prevents you from working out that day, just forget about it and know that you’ll do better tomorrow, but don’t give up. It’s usually the middle section that is the toughest to get back after having a child. What exercise or new machine gets the best results for this area?
