Anthill pythons are rather dinky. They aren’t the absolute smallest species of snake (that title belongs to the Lesser Antillean Threadsnake, I believe), but Anthills are the world’s smallest python; rarely exceeding 20-25 inches in length. They are also sweet tempered and generally easy to keep as pets. They are one of my favorite species of snake.
