On November 21, 2008, President Bush signed an amendment to the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2008. The economic stimulus package, signed into law by President Obama on February 16, 2009, does not provide any additional EUC benefits. It does extend the program to December 31, 2009, allowing existing and future claim filers the ability to file an EUC claim.
