Currently, there are almost 700 mobile classrooms in use across the system. One of PLAN 2004’s goals is to provide enough classroom space to reduce the number of Wake’s student population in mobiles to nine percent. The school system’s long-term goal is to have 92 percent of children in permanent classrooms.
