What is the structure of a JBIG2 file?
A JBIG2 file consists of a header, one or more page segments, zero or more Symbol segments, zero or more optional segments and an End of File segment Each segment contains information about the source image. Three or more segments – a Page Information segment, one or more region segments and an End Of Page segment, describe a page. The Page Information segment contains width, height, resolution and coding parameter information. Each region segment contains additional information describing the coding technique used to encode the region and the encoded bit stream. The End of Page segment ends the current page. Optional segments are Extension, Profile and coding tables.
