What is the study hall section?
The function of study hall is to make sure students get time credit for doing work while they are away from the computer, reading a book, or on a website other than The New Hope Homeschool’s site. Whenever the student is completing work off-line, a study hall window should be opened to keep track of the student’s time. If you do not know how to do this, ask one of your Academic Counselor.
Our online home education program allows homeschool students to get credit for work that they do while they aren’t in front of their computer. They can be reading a book, watching an educational film, or any other task that requires learning. You can keep the study hall window open to keep track of your homeschool student’s time spent in these supplemental activities.
