What is the Sword and Serpent Tavern?
No one can tell you what the Tavern is. You have to see it for yourself. But the whole purpose of an FAQ is to keep you from having to do that to get an idea, so here’s our best shot! Once upon a time this forum was largely about console RPGs, especially Seiken Densetsu 3, but it really isn’t anymore. It’s almost kind of an anime/manga forum, but not really. The Sword and Serpent Tavern (or “the S&S” for short) has its roots in those places, but has long since taken on a life of its own; it’s the kind of community that’s very much about its members. It’s a place where many people have found a special kind of belonging, or just a place where they like to hang out, and the character of the Tavern today is shaped by the patrons more than the patronage being shaped by any affiliation or purpose statement or suchlike.
