The Virtual Assistant is a web option that allows you to set rules to block messages, deliver copies of messages, or to send notification of messages to another device. See “Using the Virtual Assistant” in the Help section that’s available after you log in to Message Center. • How can I listen to my voice messages using my e-mail account? You can set up a Delivery rule to have copies of your voice (and fax) messages delivered to your umich e-mail account. (Other e-mail accounts may also allow delivery, but not all have been tested.) Click on Options, Virtual Assistant, Create Rule, Voice (or Fax), Delivery, and enter the required information on the next screen. Note: Opening or deleting copies of your voice or fax messages from your e-mail account does not open or delete the originals in your Message Center mailbox. That is, your message waiting indicator will not turn off until after new messages are opened in Message Center; and, to remove messages, the delete functions are required
