The Cognate is an interdisciplinary program in web development with an emphasis on web design and management. It combines courses in graphic arts, IS (Information Systems), marketing, and technical writing. You do not have to be an art major to take it. In fact, many students majoring in Computer Sciences, Marketing and Communications choose to take the Cognate.
