What is the worst and best computer repair service you ever got?
I got the dreaded “blue screen” on my last Dell when it was two weeks old. This was several years ago. I had not yet been able to connect my external CD burner to the computer and make it work so I had about two weeks of work that was not backed up yet. I contacted the Dell help hotline and they tried walking me through several things but nothing worked and they started to direct me to reformat my C drive – they did not say “this will erase everything on your C drive”. Luckily I recognized that reformatting would be bad and stopped. They said there was nothing else I could do. That was the worst repair. Luckily I did not listen to them. My best was that I took the same computer to a local computer repair shop and they fixed my problem for $50.
