What is this new Regnum Christi Member Handbook?
It is a book explaining the essence of what Regnum Christi is in a simple, clear, and transparent manner. It offers straightforward guidelines for how members can live out their Christian vocation more fully. It highlights the basic principles, structures and traditions of Regnum Christi. Q: Why a new handbook? What was wrong with the previous one? Just like every institution within the Church, we too occasionally need to review and update guiding documents. Some of those – like a Constitution or Statutes – might require ratification from the Holy See; others that are more practical applications (like the new handbook) do not. The previous handbook was printed in 1989, when Regnum Christi was at a much younger stage of development. Since that time, the Movement has spread to other countries and cultures, giving us further insight and background into what works — and what has not worked so well — within Regnum Christi.
