What is to be done in a case a subscriber has been allotted two different GPF Account numbers?

The subscriber should immediately take up this matter in writing with MPF Section in the AGs dealing with his case giving details of both the GPF account numbers. The MPF Section will verify the facts and if found true, will close one of the GPF account numbers and the balance from this account transferred to the other account number, under intimation to the subscriber concerned.
