Williams has been consistently by rated by U.S. News & World Report as the TOP liberal arts college in the United States! Click here. I’ve never understood why it is not better known. However, if you have heard of its sister schools, Amherst and Weslyan, then you have an idea of the caliber of this school. As with those and other top schools such as Harvard and Stanford, Williams attracts some of the most talented faculty in the country. I mention this so that, in case you have never heard of Williams, you may appreciate that it really is a BIG DEAL to be a dean and teacher at Williams College!
