The classifications most affected over time by the implementation of the SSC will be: • Administrative Assistant • Analyst I, II, II • Computer Resource Specialist • Programmer • Systems Analyst However, any job that includes tasks related to finance, HR or IT is likely to change to some degree as a result of the shared service center implementation. For example, a supervisor may currently oversee the payroll service that resides in his/her department. When payroll services move to the shared service center, that supervisor’s job scope will change, adding time for focus on duties other than payroll.
