What junction types are explicitly modelled (traffic signals, roundabouts, priority junctions, merges) and how?

0

There are no explicit junction types thus allowing virtually any junction geometry to be modeled (including any type of roundabout). The basic element of VISSIM networks is a link (stretch of road) with one or more lanes. Links can be modeled exactly according to the geometry of the real junction. Based on the link structure, other network elements such as signal heads, conflict areas, priority rules and merges may be defined.
