Both of usual PC/AT PC (the desktop or the notebook) and the board-type PC can be used. The target machine needs INtime OS. It is possible to install both of Windows OS and INtime OS, or only INtime OS. However, only a single processor is supported and a multiprocessor (dual processor) isnft supported. This is because of the software format of HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), which is a part of the OS of the PC. The target machine needs INtime runtime system and PC_PLC runtime system.
