What kind of courses are included in the Pharmacy program?
The curriculum is a carefully organized sequence of courses designed to enable students to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and values to become effective, contemporary practitioners. Early courses in basic and biomedical sciences provide a foundation for increasingly specialized chemistry, pharmaceutical and medical science courses. These are integrated with and complemented by pharmacy practice and social and administrative pharmacy courses in which specific knowledge and skills are acquired, developed and assessed. Students must obtain at least 60% in each course before they can advance to the next higher year.
