What kind of interfaces DMIF define?

0

DMIF defines two interfaces: the DAI and the DNI. On one hand, the DAI defines the boundary between the application space and the delivery layer. All interaction between the application and the delivery layer is done through the interchange of primitives through the DAI. On the other hand, below the DAI the delivery layer processes the DAI primitives related to the User plane (i.e., media transport mechanisms) and the ones related to the Control plane (i.e., signaling). The DAI primitives related to the Control plane traverse the DNI, which allow the interaction among remote DMIF peers involved in a multimedia session.
