What kinds of activities will the kids be doing at night?
The YP residence hall staff members conduct sightseeing and recreational excursions during evenings and weekends. These include city, outdoor/wilderness, and “veg-out” activities-something to suit every taste. Recreational lounges in the residence hall are equipped with a TV, VCR, table tennis, board games (limited selection–might want to bring favorites), and pinball machines. Participants have access to the computer lab in the library to check e-mail etc. You are invited to bring your own music for the dance, as long as it has a label with their full name. Free-time activities include: baseball, basketball, beach games, dances, fishing (need pole and license), game tournaments, hiking, waterfall trips, jogging, movies (fee if off-campus), bowling, shopping, pizza, racquetball, swimming, roller-blading, tennis, volleyball and much, much more! Favorite personal equipment may be brought to play in any of these sports.
